Seasonal Calendar!

April: A great way to kick off the spring season with a little speedster like the  Atlantic Bonito. They're great on light tackle or fly and they love top water  baits, pull lots of line and are great to eat. Book early as best dates fill up quickly. Best dates: April 15-30

May: Stripers on the Roanoke River at Weldon NC. This is fishing at its best. Ever catch 30 to 100 stripers in a day? Then here is your chance! A great trip for including your spouse & kids as well as bringing the kid in you! Best time is the first  2 weeks in May. I only book 1st through 15th, so call or email for the days you would like.

Last of May &June: Things really start to heat up. Top water goes off with Speckle Trout and Drum doing it just right. As the water warms up, the Spanish & King  Mackerel move to inshore...so it's a short run out and we're in the fishing grounds.

More about

July, August, September: Even though the weather's hot the fishing even hotter. Along with the Kings & Spanish the Dolphin, (the fish Mahi-Mahi ) and the Sailfish move inshore as close as a mile, but most often we run as much as 25 miles out if necessary.
August is the time for the big yellow belly Pompano (3 to 5 pounders). You will need to look out as they sail over the boat!
In September the bait balls and the schooling Mullet come inshore, bringing  the False Albacore. You never know what you will find when you pull the boat up to a "bait ball". Sharks, Spanish, Hound fish, Albacore & more.
This is a great time to be on the water with the kids or your best friend!

More about

October, November: False Albacore and Big Kings at Cape Look Out NC. This "World Class" fishing has to be one of my favorite places to fish. I find it very challenging to put the boat in the right place at the right time for you to cast to these fish, then to see the look on your face as the fish takes off at a very high rate of speed. What a blast! This starts to book up very early, with a good number of people booking a year in advance...so you will have to book early to secure your days.
